Up Your Curb Appeal: How to Install Thin Stone Veneer on CMU Foundation

Contractors enjoy working with thin stone veneers because they’re a welcome alternative to standard brick and veneer that require brick ledge foundations, wall ties and other system components. They are also easy to cut and shape however you want, with no concern for exposed aggregate edges like with precast concrete veneers. Adhered masonry thin veneers are lightweight and simple to cut, which makes them much easier to install than full bed veneer materials.

In this video, we’ll be installing Rockford Estate Blend thin veneer, made of solid Indiana Limestone – Full Color Blend stone, to a foundation wall of a new home construction. Foundations are the perfect location to use thin stoen veneer to easily upgrade standard stucco finishes.
